Description

As the closing keynote talk of our fall scholarly series The Curious Mind: Exploration and Discovery, join us at the Ridgefield Library on Thursday, December 5th at 7:00 pm for a call to action from technology industry legend Nick Donofrio. Nick will share his insights on how our human curiosity leads to innovation and to positive change. In topics ranging from emerging technology to the importance of diversity and inclusion, Nick highlights opportunities to change our path for the better and to embrace change. As he highlighted in his 2022 autobiography, If Nothing Changes, Nothing Changes, Nick believes deeply in each individual’s ability to drive transformation in our lives and our society.  Please register.

Nick Donofrio is a 44-year IBM veteran who led IBM’s technology and innovation strategies from 1997 until his graduation from IBM in October 2008. He was also the vice chairman of the IBM International Foundation and the chairman of the board of governors for the IBM Academy of Technology. His most recent responsibilities included IBM research, governmental programs, technical support and quality, corporate community relations, and environmental health and product safety.
