The Ultimate Theatre Bromance Is Back On Stage in Brookfield!

What better "bromance" is there than between Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom? When Max is a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer, he dupes mild-mannered accountant Leo into being a partner to produce the most notorious flop in Broadway history and bilking their backers out of millions of dollars in the process. We follow Max and Leo on their crazy journey to find the worst script staged in the most outrageous way possible. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! As all their plans crash around them and the future looks bleak, Leo sings, "No one ever made me feel like someone 'til him" and Max finally realizes that he doesn't have a partner, he has a friend! "The Producers" skewers Broadway traditions and takes no prisoners as it proudly proclaims itself an “equal opportunity offender” and in the best of Broadway tradition, leaves everyone laughing in the end.

Winner of 12 Tony Awards, the truly hysterical book is co-written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan (Annie) with music and lyrics by Mr. Brooks. They previously teamed up for the award-winning "Sweeney Todd,The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" and "Best Little Whorehouse In Texas".
