Join the Danbury Concert Chorus and Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of John Cuk as we celebrate the 180th anniversary of Gabriel Fauré’s birth. This special concert honors Fauré’s lasting impact on choral and orchestral music. The program will feature Fauré’s Requiem, a serene setting of the traditional mass, known for its peaceful approach to the theme of eternal rest. Also featured is Cantique de Jean Racine, a beautiful choral piece based on a French hymn.
