Danbury Music Centre Community Band Concert

Gershwin, Holst, and a Rainbow

Two local nonprofits, Ann's Place and the Danbury Music Centre team up to raise funds. 

The Danbury Community Band will perform a concert in the Marian Anderson Recital at The Danbury Music Centre. The concert will feature the classic Gustav Holst Suite # 1 in E Flat for Band, a medley of songs by George Gershwin from the Great American Songbook, the pensive Prayer for Peace by John Williams and vocals by Jane Shearin.

Admission is free and donations to Ann’s Place will be accepted at the door.

Marian Anderson Recital Hall at the Danbury Music Centre. 

Please use the back entrance of the building. Parking is available on Main Street and in the Bardo Parking Garage directly behind the DMC on Library Place. Handicapped parking is located adjacent to the elevators in the garage.
