Roamer is a six-piece band bringing their unique brand of new old fashioned American music to Nod Hill. Led on acoustic guitar by singer Tim Sather, members support in high harmony while nimbly trading instrumentation. Keys, horns, guitars, mandolin, and the occasional accordion canvas hand-crafted songs, all backed by a rootsy and dynamic rhythm section. Infusing elements of Americana, bluegrass, rock and reggae, their sound recalls that of Music from Big Pink. Original songs tell the stories of the scofflaws, underdogs, and immigrants who cry out “know me better, man!” as they buy another round. The band is excited to bring songs fresh from the studio to the stage in support of their upcoming release, The American Condition.
