RSO String Quartet at The Aldrich Museum

Inspired by Layo Bright: Dawn and Dusk, a current exhibition at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra String Quartet will perform a concert on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the museum featuring selections from Franz Schubert’s “Rosamunde” Quartet, Joseph Haydn’s “Sunrise” Quartet, Giacomo Puccini’s “Chrysanthemums”, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Fantasiestücke “Humoresque” and more! The connections between the music and the art will be articulated throughout this engaging performance and highlight both the gorgeous music and the beauty and strength of the art.
