Summer Choral Workshops presented by the Connecticut Choral Society
MASTER TEACHER OFFERS SUMMER CHORAL WORKSHOPS!
The Connecticut Choral Society is delighted to present three summer choral workshops with master teacher and celebrated mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Russo.
Singers of all levels will be challenged to discover new vocal colors and dynamics which will elevate confidence. Classes will include light physical warm-ups and stretches, vocal technique, including both group and individual instruction, and work on choral repertoire.
Elizabeth Russo has over 30 years of teaching and performing experience in NYC and CT. She is a member of the National Opera Center in NYC and has taught at Fordham University in Manhattan, New York University, the Music Learning Center in Danbury, CT, Chautauqua Institute, and the Connecticut Conservatory of Music and Dance.
This is an open invitation to all singers! We especially encourage local choirs and other chorus singers to attend. The workshops will be held on August 12th, 19th, and 26th from 7:30 – 8:30 pm at Valley Presbyterian Church, 21 W. Whisconier Road, Brookfield, CT.
We invite you to attend all three workshops, as you will benefit the most from the maximum amount of time working with Elizabeth on vocal technique, group/individual instruction, and more! However, we know it is summer and family/vacation time, so feel free to join us for just the week(s) you can!
