Summer Concert Series

New Milford Commission on the Arts is happy to announce our Kincade Summer Concert Series kicks off August 3rd with Nina Et Cetera! Bring along blankets and chairs, and gather on the green with your family and friends to listen to live music from New Milford's historic bandstand. Every Saturday throughout August at 7pm.

*In the event of rain, concerts will be held in the auditorium of the First Congregational Church of New Milford, 36 Main Street.

 August 3rd - Nina Et Cetera

Nina Et cetera plays a combination of original songs and well-known country, pop, rock and roll, and blues songs. They have a big sound for a small group. Nina Et cetera has been performing professionally for the past 10 years in just about every imaginable venue across the Tri-State area; bars, restaurants, libraries, street fairs, assisted livings, bandshells, busking, vineyards—you name it and they have been there. This is their first visit to New Milford. 

August 10—Red Hots

The Red Hots are CT's premiere swingin' blues Americana group, mixing up hot jazz with old blues, country, pop and everything in between. The group, which formed in 2012, is the collective musical effort of original founders Petra Herceg, Cynthia Preston and Russell Preston, along with Jay Margolin on percussion, Jeff Moro on bass and Eric Frost on trumpet. Although Russ has mostly retired from live shows, The Red Hots carry on the legacy of this incredible guitarist, singer, harmonica player and patron of the band. The Red Hots continue to rock, swing, woo and dazzle audiences all over the tri-state area and beyond. 

August 17—Kenn Morr Band

The Kenn Morr Band is touring in support of their new album “Still Shining” featuring eleven new original songs in the Folk/Rock/Americana style for which the band has become known. Highlighted by their vocal harmonies and unique instrumentation (guitar, bass, drums mandolin, accordion, violin and bouzouki) the KMB’s music has been described as “instantly hummable…uplifting” seemingly coming “right from American’s heartland…”

August 24—ACE & Friends

ACE & Friends is a premiere Grateful Dead tribute band based in Fairfield County, CT. Established in 2016, the group performs in Connecticut and New York at music venues, festivals, community concerts, private clubs and parties. ACE & Friends keeps the tradition of the Dead with ever-changing set lists comprising upwards of 200 songs that were written or covered by the Dead and/or its members.

August 31 (Labor Day weekend)—Rick Reyes and Latin Americana

“Latin Americana" is a unique fusion of Caribbean mountain folk music with North American folk music, including bluegrass, country, and gospel. The project showcases the exceptional talent of Rick Reyes on guitar and vocals, plus Caribbean instrumentation such as congas and hand percussion to create a truly unique style.
